Radiation dosimeters
The Foods Radiation Checker is a portable instrument that can detect radioactively contaminated objects and measure the level of radiation. The test object that has been radioactively contaminated, such as food, human body or clothes, are placed on the sensor apparatus installed on the upper part of the measurement device. The measured radiation rate and the level are displayed in real-time. The background elimination and variable deduction filter algorithm are applied to the CM-H1 improve the accuracy of the measurement of radiation. In addition, it is capable of reducing the measurement period for the contaminated samples with high radiation levels. It displays measured radioactivity levels and radioactive contamination status (safety, caution, danger) so that the public can judge the status of radioactive contamination without knowledge of radiation. It also displays the charge and battery status, and whether there is a malfunction through the display. There are two buttons on the control panel of the Food Radiation Checker, one to power on or off the device and the other to start the measurement.
